Garrett McIntyre
Director, Acquisitions
As RIZE Equity’s Head of Acquisitions, Garrett’s responsible for leading the company’s business development efforts by developing relationships with owners, brokers and other sponsors to identify and acquire properties that meet RIZE’s economic and underwriting objectives.
Prior to joining RIZE, Garrett enjoyed a decorated career as a professional football player. His career started at Fresno State in 2002, followed by 7 years professionally, finishing with the New York Jets in 2014.
To date, Garrett has managed $25MM in Commercial and Residential Real Estate transactions and currently has $25MM in assets under management. More importantly, he is a proud husband and father to 3 kids. In his free time, he enjoys lifting weights, playing golf, and staying active with his kids.
Sean Cullen
Director, Business Operations
Sean is a retired Colonel in the United States Air Force and brings over 22 years of leadership and management experience to his role as RIZE’s Head of Operations. In that role, he relishes the opportunity to build and manage the systems and teams needed to advance RIZE’s objectives. He is deeply committed to completing tasks with a high degree of quality, attention to detail, and communication.
As an Air Force officer, Sean has excelled in numerous leadership positions, culminating as a Division Chief on the Joint Staff. In addition to his military service, he has actively invested in real estate since 2005.
Sean is passionate about guiding others in their journey towards financial freedom and is dedicated to helping them create multi-generational wealth. However, his greatest passion is his family. Sean is a proud husband and father to 3 children.
Matthew Schambeau
Director, Asset Management
Matthew Schambeau is the Director of Asset Management for RIZE Equity Group. Matthew attended the University of Central Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He moved to Atlanta and successfully owned and operated two restaurants for nine years. Matthew spent the last fifteen years as the VP of operations for a staffing company with $500M in annual revenues. In 2018, he found his passion for real estate investing by investing in small multifamily properties.
As the Director of Asset Management for RIZE Equity, he controls, directs, and develops multiple projects at once. Matt oversees many departments, including property management and renovation, which are instrumental in executing the business strategy.
Matt enjoys helping his family and fellow investors build generational wealth through smart multifamily investments.
